Question

**Q.** The entrepreneurship ethos in India has come a long way and has made rapid strides in recent years. It now ranks in the top five start-up communities in the world.

Identify the sentence that improves the given statement without changing its meaning or introducing errors.

Accepted Answer

**Solution:**

1. Option A: "India ranks fifth among the start-up communities in the world" is a factual statement but changes the original meaning slightly. The original says "top five" which could be any rank from 1 to 5, not specifically fifth.

2. Option B: "The country has made rapid strides in recent years because" is a grammatically correct phrase that can be used to improve the sentence by providing a reason for the rapid strides. It fits well with the original context.

3. Option C: "Moreover, the entrepreneurship ethos in India has come a long way" is incomplete and does not improve the original sentence effectively.

4. The correct choice is only B as it improves the sentence without changing the meaning or introducing errors.
